Of course, this movie has a ton of advertising and what film can live up to all this .... yada yada yada. Even allowing that this film is something of a disappointment. This film proves that it is not just special FX make Star Wars fun to watch. It was like George Lucas was delighted with what he can do with CGI effects, he has forgotten what makes the three great original such as text and characters. Not a bad movie, but the problem is many.-Many people have to forgive this film is blurred as they say it is only in the first three, and it's just to make everything to follow. SAI SAI SAI, this film is the film itself is the first and most important is the other three films. It is necessary to have good grades and a very interesting story .... it didnt.-The conflict in this story is about a commercial dispute and the fate of the planet Naboo. Is anyone really care about this? The details of the dispute are somewhat vague, and what is revealed is not really generate enough interest for us to cheer for a specific page . Darth Sideous important conflict and increase his hold far behind. We do not even know why Darth Maul hate Jedis very much .... he just did. Qui-Gon is really the only character who can relate and even he is quite far. Queen's role as a mannequin in a lot of her scenes (and looks like one to). Obi-Wan Kenobi wander through the whole movie does not work and never say anything interesting. The characters never seem to talk about something outside the plot (unlike in the first film). C3PO and R2-D2 is pretty pointless. Jedi Council comes across as very cold and buracratic. And I will never understand why they write such Annakin grader in this film. He should have been a teenager. His scenes with the queen of awkward. There was not even talking about other Jar.Various Jar ...-The midochlorians everything seems to have just been crucified. Humor is the opposite, unless you are a child. Annakin destroyed at the end of commercial vessels and safves all, basically by mistake! George Lucas and ILM seem very happy with their new toys CGI that they spent 95% of their time to complete them. Honestly I think the FX Return of the Jedi is sharper, more dimensional and less animated. Nothing all that memorable seems to happen here. This film has probably never been as good as the hype, but it can easily get much better than this. I waited so long for this film, but the first time I saw this movie, I was really bored in the middle of it. There are good moments. The race was fun shells, such as light saber battle at the end. There are some very nice special effects throughout. Hopefully Lucas only writers block when he wrote this. Maybe he'll remember what made other films in time for Episode II. Although he seems to have bungled the title then.
