Review: The Cabin in the Woods is a spin on the genre of writers Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard, without giving spoilerish parts of the plot, the disease just say that it's five friends stereotypes fits-ea , cula of terror (Jock, Whore, Party-Guy, Nerd, Virgin) who go to a cabin in the woods to party and get away from everything. The problem is that you never really safe to go to a cabin in the woods, right? To be honest, less is known about this film, the more amazing it is. I felt that the trailer gave away too much of the twists and turns you would expect from the film, but also the image of a bird flying into a giant force field is what will define this film, apart from the generic horror films hit theaters today. The Cabin In The Woods will say in advance that you think you know the story ... but of course you do not. Joss Whedon is, after all. Fans of Buffy and Angel have a kick out of this, as the universe actors make their way in this film.Its is a long time since I've had a lot of fun at the movies and the cabin the forest was a lot of fun. It's a strange film to sell, because much of it need to be kept secret in order to make the second half of the film exciting and fresh. Some genres are mixed together, the two main ones are the horror and comedy, and it works perfectly. Both Whedon and Goddard worked on Buffy and Angel, who was a gender balance, so that they knew the right tone to get here, and nailed. Take cliché d all aspects of horror movies and put it in here, to brilliant use. You actually get to see the reasons for stupid character flaws, which made all the fun aspect of the film. Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford have great chemistry together and stole every scene they are in I would love to see these two character actors working together, this movie was very funny, and are a joy to watch on screen. The young actors, including Thor himself Chris Hemsworth, sell cliché? D horror character very well. In most horror movies I can not stand any of the characters, here I was rooting for all of them.There are some very funny moments, I can not wait to talk about them, but this would destroy surprises. All I can say is that I laughed through the whole movie, I cheered, I clapped and I had fun. There are plenty of horror references, especially The Evil Dead, so it's fun to see things here and there. Horror fans who think they really get a kick out of this film and pray it does well, because it is the most fun I've had in a long time. Drew Goddards first directing gig, I had a lot on his plate and he managed to get a hell of a movie. Convenient when you have someone like Joss Whedon on the corner, but I applaud him for being able to achieve perfect pitch, I think the script to screen process is identical. This is a very clever script, with laughs, gore and surprises around every corner. After Goddard, who has worked on Buffy, Angel, Lost and wrote Cloverfield, teamed with fellow Joss Whedon, who is one of the best writers working today, so know you will be something special. I can not recommend this film enough. When you leave, you have to go see it. Just make sure that you do not know much about it beforehand, or can destroy the awesome factor.
