Review:
My favorite movie of all time. That was a poor job of Coppola and see the heart of darkness documentary made even more compelling. Coppola at this point the king of Hollywood after Godfather and GodfatherII was the ego necessary to even dare try to make a film like Apocalypse Now have developed. The sheer arrogance was in the Philippines with a partial script and thought that he knew what he would do when he got there. Just when Captain Willard, he would know when it reaches Colonel Kurtz's compound, what to do. And, like Willard, he does not know what he would do if he got there. This is a masterpiece of American cinema, beautifully photographed and the river is a perfect metaphor for the history and background. What I like most about Apocalypse Now is not with answers or conclusions. The fact that this openness, it annoys some fans to be their films, obviously fallen. This film defies categorization. Some war is not called film, it is really more of a personal study of man. The best thing about Vietnam platoon in my opinion, and if a viewer looking for a retelling of the war in Vietnam go there first for answers. Coppola should be commended on his war bureaucracy that very effectively convey Gen.Corman meetings and Lucas (Harrison Ford) and Playmate Review. Audacity Kilgore as it is a memorable character and is always a dawn attack cruise Hollywood classic.It be close to an end very surreal psychedelic film that does not accessible to everyone. Very hard to see, but rewarding as well. I offer my explanations at every stage, but it would be completely pointless. This film is intended for reading and contemplation, in contrast to gratification.A small footnote immediately sure if your first time viewer watching Apocalypse Now, Redux She is the original first version I think, more for the hardcore fan and is more a curiosity Decato new and improved version of the film
